This is the temporary home of the VFP! The "permanent" site will be at http://www.as2.info/ but that web host is down at the moment. I will put up a redirect when that server comes back. Until then, all entries submitted here still count.
How the Pool Works
- Make your picks from this page every week for the Saturday through Monday NFL games.
- Pay the pool administrator (Alan Tu) $1, either in-person or via Paypal. This step must be completed prior to the start of the first counted game, otherwise your pool entry is not valid.
- The person or the persons who correctly pick the most winners will win, or split, the total pot.
Verifiable Pool Integrity System
The administrator of any pool is in a position of unique power and trust. Therefore, I will implement the following measures to add integrity to the pool.
- I require the participant's "high side" SID to have a reliable, secure communications channel available to work through any individual issues.
- If I, as pool administrator, decide to participate in that week's pool, that Friday I will e-mail my picks to all the SIDs that have submitted picks by that time. If I win that week, this result is verifiable because the picks are timestamped and digitally signed. Further, if I win one week, I will make myself ineligible to participate for the remainder of the season.
